Taco Bell Execs After Breakfast Fails to Increase Profits

Why is this in TB Reddit? Cause it is a forecast of what is to come next in fast food.

Consumers are pushing against inflated prices. When CEOs get less profit, when CEOs face consequences for unreasonable profit margins posting drops, when they suffer consequences like the rest of us…. They will be truthful about how corrupt their system has become since COVID using supply chain scares to drive up prices and continue in the interest of profits when the cost of goods drop for them in the absence of legitimate COVID fear and supply chain issues.

This morning TB shared that they would no longer be serving breakfast. Why? Cause consumers are starting to push back on $5.49 Breakfast Crunchwraps that were $4.29 this time last year. Cause we are starting to say… I can skip breakfast or eat something from home.

I cannot wait until a YUM Brands CEO gets fired for posting profits that were appropriate for 2019, but doubled in 2023 creating an unrealistic business model that expects all costs to transfer to their employees and consumers.

I cannot wait until the Gov starts looking at all the grocery food costs and correlate it to fast food costs realizing this same situation is happening.

So keep choosing not to pay 25% increased prices from last year for the same TB items… And when those that are corrupt start to feel the pressure, they will turn on each other like this Kroger CEO.
