I hope these photos are detailed enough. This chili just looks so mundane, I can't seemingly find any exact fit. This chilli was growing at a friend's workplace, he brought it over once when we were eating dinner together and I decided to take the seeds and plant them. It's relatively hot. The chillis in the photo were growing in somewhat warm conditions and wound up being pretty spicy. They ripen green to red, moderately sized, with the pod flaring out from where the stem ends as opposed to forming a more straight line from stem to pod, like a Cayenne would. I had suspected it might be an Espelette Pepper, but I'm not so sure. When telling my friend he insisted it wasn't an Espelette, but he didn't tell me what he thinks it was, soaybe he was just teasing me. Also, my dad's wife is growing peppers and she has an Espelette pepper, and honestly, the leaves of her plant felt noticably thicker, while mine feel quite thin in comparison, similar to other breeds she had in her garden.
So to summarize:
1. Ripens green to red
2. Moderately sized pods
3. Quite spicy, but not insanely spicy
4. More of a triangular pod shape with the base of the pod flaring out from where the stem ends.
Relatively large leaves that are quite thin
5. Very possibly a European variety (I'm from continental Europe)
The weird looking pod in the 6th picture is a random occurrence. Maybe as a result of how I was trimming the plant.
Thanks for all your help
