I have some hot peppers that I picked up from the farmer's market. Not sure of the variety but they're hotter than I expected. I'd like to make dried pepper flakes out of them.
Is there any problem with drying very hot peppers in an oven or dehydrator, in terms of fumes? Does it irritate eyes or lungs?
