Found these peppers at a Saturday market, but the kid working the booth couldn’t tell me anything about them. I bought some because I was curious, but I have no idea what they are. In fact, I’m not entirely sure they’re all the same kind of pepper.
Tasted one of the tiny ones and it was pretty good. Smoky kind of flavor with about the same heat as a Thai chili. I didn’t taste any sweetness, but there might have been a hint of a floral note. Tough skin, lots of seeds, and mild to moderate crunch.
