Well, I had my first reaper today. Even after a couple of years of progressively pushing my spice tolerance up, it was a hot one. Took seeds out to use for starts and noticed this pepper has a really crazy-different smell.
It’s such a unique smell that I’m finding it really hard to describe. Any of you know what I’m talking about? Unsurprisingly, that really odd (maybe citrusy-sweet) smell translated into the flavor too. Loved it, but yeah it was like lava for about 15 mins.
