150gms Paneer cubed or any shape you like

For the batter:
2 tbsp Flour (maida)
2 tbsp Cornflour
1/4 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper

In a bowl add the above ingredients and mix well with a fork or spoon, make sure its not too runny nor too thick. We just want to crisp the paneer from outside and prevent it from breaking while stir-frying.

Coat each cube in the batter individually and fry until golden and crisp.

Set aside once done and prepare for the sauce.

For Chilli:

1tsp Chopped Garlic
1tsp Chopped Ginger
1tsp Chopped Green Chili
2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
1/2 small Onion cubed
1/2 small Capsicum Cubed
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Spring onions to garnish
White sesame seeds for garnish (Optional)

In a pan add about 2-3 tbsp oil followed by the garlic, ginger and green chili. Sauté until slightly translucent and add chopped coriander.

Add in the onions and capsicum followed by the soy sauce and vinegar. Next add in the fried paneer and stir-fry until coated with all the aromatic flavours. Add a few tbsp of water if needed to get all the lovely flavours off the bottom of the pan. Add seasonings as per taste and garnish.

Your Paneer Chilli is ready! Enjoy in the comfort and safety of your home 🙂
