I bought a plant earlier this summer from the farmers market that was labeled as "chocolate bhut jolokia" and the pods are finally beginning to ripen. However, they are ripening to an orange/red color. This is my first time growing ghosts so I'm wondering do these ripen further to the "chocolate" color? Or are these just normal ghost peppers that are ready to be picked?
