  1. I can’t wait to try this. Looks delicious. I wish you would have shone us the roux Before you mixed it. Unless you have it in another video I missed. Plus a little paprika would be nice in there too. Oh the wheels are turning 😋

  2. Bet it would be good starting with some sauteed bacon and onion. I need to find a rack to use to cook the raw flour or perhaps cook on stove top in small pan. Thanks!

  5. This looks amazing louise! I absolutely adore onions and garlic, have you tried adding some in with the carrots and celery? Would it take away from the broccoli?

  6. I make a similar version which has just onions broccoli Stilton and equal quantities of chicken stock & milk but I use an immersion blender to make a smoother soup

  8. So I just made this. I didn't have the huge broccoli and instead used the florets. It worked out fine. My husband said this was one of his favorite soups I have made. I told him that Louise always makes great recipes. Thanks for this so I can add this to my regime. Next time I will double the recipe so we have more leftovers. Love it!

  9. I must let you know the difference youve made in my entire cooking routine. So I was gifted a Ninja Foodie last year. I had no Idea how to use it until i found your channel and easy peady firections. Your tips and tricks along with fantastic recipes have been a game changer. I have a progressive spinal disease taking the use of my extremities. My right arm has become almost useless. However with this type of cooking i seldom need to use or be around hot stove tops or ovens. I can easily still create entire meals using your recipes with my Ninja. I want to thank you for yoyr warmth, your humor, yoyr guidance and most of all your easy to follow recipes…thank you so much.❤❤

  11. Just made this tonight and didn't tweak it at all, OMG!

    It's a major hit with the family and is now going in to my regular soup rotation. SO EASY!

    One thing, I didn't hear in the video how much flour you used but I used equal amounts of flour and butter as it doubled up the recipe so doubled it all up. It worked out perfectly anyway. I'm sure all that is in the linked recipe but I was watching on my TV 😂
