  1. I would add a braising liquid (eg tomato/beef/balsamic) and make the stuffing with raw meat so it stuffs better. Longer cook time but you get a sauce and don’t need to parboil.

If you prefer to brown meat, do it first and deglaze with the veggies, as is you’re boiling the meat.

Also, green peppers take longer to cook, so best to let that one go by itself or use all of one type

  2. Im learning to cook and I made this… had a bit of trouble with seasoning because like I said I’m new at this. But at the end it ended up AMAZING 😍. I added raw scrambled egg at the top before baking it and then used mozzarella and sliced white land o lakes cheese 2 minutes before it was done and it was delicious 😍

  3. Wow! Absolutely gorgeous & delicious. Great technique 👍 I would use mince lamb plus add some Tomoto paste a little parsley & cayenne pepper for a spicy kick🌶🌶🌶🍷

  4. I was wondering how I could get them to soften more easily. I got my own recipe but the tips found in cooking videos are where it's at. Thanks!

  5. Yum going to make this today, and stuff some jalapeños as well with left over mix!! Adding smoked paprika and cumin to add earthy taste plus a hint of liquid smoke. Thank you for posting 👏🏻

  6. Does it matter what spices I put in the ground beef? Judging from the ingredients, I can use taco seasoning and it'll still taste good. I mean it's basically a taco with a bell pepper instead of a shell or tortilla.

  7. I tried this 5 times already, its like a chilli but without the beans lol. So good! 👍

  8. Hi! How long should I put the peppers in the oven? I’m guessing 10 mins for the cheese to melt? Everything else is cooked soooo is that about the right time?

  9. I’ve never seen anyone blanch the bell pepper before stuffing, but it makes so much sense. I’ll definitely be trying this recipe

  10. Thank you for this! The other recipes I’ve found look like a raw bell pepper even after baking. Blanching them is brilliant! I used your recipe, and mine are in the oven right now. I can’t wait 😭 ❤

  11. I like "soggy/overcooked bell peppers. I put mine in the oven for 45min BEFORE adding the stuffing. Then I add the mixture and cook for 30min. Chef's kiss

  12. I have a question is the bell pepper cup still spicy after it got boiled and heated in the oven? Is it still really spicy?
