1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tbsp maple syrup

1. Bring a pot of water to boil for the pasta. Thinly slice the garlic and onion. Quarter the Roma tomato, then quarter again. Finely chop the green onions

  2. This is truly wonderful- silky, sweetness popping w green onion. The tomatoes available, however, were not that good but the maple syrup more than made up for their deficiencies. I always keep San Marzano tomatoes on hand and when I try again, I think I might choose those.
Thanks , Wil, for a great dinner. The steamed broccoli from Dining In is a wonderful accompaniment. āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

  3. One more thing: be VERY careful when using salt w pasta water. I overdid it and almost ruined the dish. I use reduced salt tamari and it was still too salty for my husband- who is also sensitive to too much red pepper. I omitted the dry chili and used some pepper flakes in addition to the cayenne. Too spicy and salty for him😢

  4. This looks so delectable. I'm definitely going to try this. Thank you so much Wil! ā¤
