I waited 8 years. Now i know how to cut the full bell pepper
Man i learned this from working at Subway
I worked at a pizza place and the way we did it there stuck with me:
Push in on the stem while it’s whole, it’ll fall in with the core, then split it in half with your hands (you have thumbs on the inside so it’s easy), dump out the innards, then pat the skins to get all the seeds out of the inside. Lay the skins flat (they’ll break a bit to go flat) and then you can slice n dice however you like
Isn't that how everyone preps peppers?
I saw the video few years ago. Never used normal technique since.
** I GUESS I HAVE TO DO A VIDEO NOW ON A MUCH BETTER WAY THAT HAS ZERO WASTE, AND IS MUCH FASTER.
This method is something i came up with when I was a 16 year old prep cook/dishwasher. Its litterally a begginner method.
When you have to cut 50 peppers a day…this video will seem amateur.
jocie dupce jestes geniuszm thx
It’s just a pepper. You don’t say bell.
For real? We’re making videos on how to use peppers?
Many people don't know that you could just eat every single part of bell pepper including the stem and the seeds and then there's a zero waste.
Twenty million views for pointing out the obvious, gotta love yt.
Common knowledge for anyone that’s ever cut a pepper. People are so braindead if this got 20 million.
Common Sense in Germany
Genau so, mache ich es schon immer! Was ist so besonders daran?
What’s wrong with the seeds?! Is that too spicy for your baby tongue?
but bell peppers suck ass anyways
I can do it with zero waste.
Bozo
How about slicing top to bottom around the pepper. Long thin slices and virtually no waste either.
I have 0 seconds of culinary training and I already knew that!
Bro zoom the fuck out so we can see too
The core is edible and rather tasty so even less waste
Just chop it in half from the top the top and middle white is connected you can pop both out at the same time
You added an unnecessary step
Can toss the ribs in stock or freeze until stock day. Don't know if the stem has any flavor
Wait ppl throw out the top part?
Is this not called a capsicum🤔🤨
Never seen the video, always did it this way. Pretty straightforward tbh.
It's like shaving a carrot… Do any of us know why? Lemme tell you: poor people had to use water sparingly, so didn't wash their dirt dwelling veg, they shaved them to rid them of dirt. It's a method that has been handed through the generations. You do know you are allowed to wash the carrot to rid it of dirt. Instead of wasting part of the carrot.
People really need a youtube video to properly cut a pepper?!
helpng trump supporters everywhere, honestly who cant figure that out..trump voters, thats who..lol
