Bread Chaat
Ingredients for Green Chutney:
Green coriander 1 cup
Mint leaves 1/2 cup
Green chilies 2-3
Salt 1/2 tsp
NestlƩ MilkPak Yogurt 1/2 cup
Ingredients for Potato Filling:
Potatoes (boiled & mashed) 2 cups
Green coriander 1/2 cup
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Bread slices as required
Oil (for frying) as required
Directions for Yogurt Topping:
NestlƩ MilkPak Yogurt 1 pack
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Ingredients for Imli Chutney:
Tamarind pulp 1 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black salt 1/2 tsp
Slurry (corn flour 2 tbsp + water 1/4 cup)
Ingredients for Assembling:
Bread aloo tikki as required
Yogurt topping as required
Green chutney as required
Imli chutney as required
Onion (chopped) as required
Pomegranate as required
Sev as required
Green coriander as required
Chaat masala as required
Directions for Green Chutney Preparation:
In a blender add green coriander, mint leaves, green chilies, salt, NestlƩ MilkPak Yogurt and blend it well. Set aside.
Directions for Potato Filling Preparation:
In a bowl add mashed potatoes, green coriander, red chili powder, red chili flakes, salt and mix it well.
Take the bread slices and cut them in round shape. Spread potato mixture on them and make bun shape.
Shallow fry them from each side for 1 minute. Set aside.
Directions for Yogurt Topping Preparation:
In a bowl add NestlƩ MilkPak Yogurt, chaat masala and salt. Mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Imli Chutney Preparation:
In a pan heat tamarind pulp, sugar, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, black salt and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add slurry and cook until it thickens. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
On a serving dish place prepared bread aloo tikki. Drizzle yogurt topping on them.
Now add green chutney and imli chutney on top. Then garnish with onion, pomegranate, sev, green coriander and chaat masala.
Your Bread Chaat is ready. Serve and enjoy.
