  3. O h!! My goodness Mike, So glad you made a cooking video. This is so awesome. Really enjoyed this. And that Chili looks so good. God Bless you Mike.

  4. I can't use tomatoes that much anymore so I will try this. But I am going to add Turkey instead of the beef and of course an onion.

  5. Thanks Mike. It's fun to see others cook. I always learn a thing or two.

Five years ago I was making chili with equal amounts (by weight) of peppers to meat. My, my how things have changed once I learned the carb count on peppers (and onions) was much higher than I had guessed.

Around here in winter we can get coarse ground beef to use for chili making. I usually mix in some leftover chuck roast for variety in the texture. Leftover chuck roast always has some fat, plus quite a bit of beef juice.

Since lockdown I have a little problem finding my favorite ground red chili powder, Gepharts. I use half a bottle in each recipe, so it can get pricey. The one item that elevated my chili to top notch about ten yrs ago was the addition of McCormick Beef Base, but I have to remember not to salt when I use it.

Nothing better than a cold, windy day in the kitchen cooking big batchs of beefy dishes to top off my freezer of meat.

  6. I haven't cooked in the house in over a year. Or eaten in there either I eat in my garage and cook out here too. I eat so good out here I gained 20 pounds.

  7. Howdy Mike! That looks delicious! Enjoy it! Take care, have a great evening and God Bless ya Brother!!!🙏❤😊

  8. You should probably try carnivore meatloaf too. Ken Berry's wife Neisha did a video on it. I think she substituted pork rinds for bread crumbs. It looked delicious 😋

  9. Perfect weather for chili. I'm going make this today minus the peppers due to an allergy to them. The pups sure are lucky to have you cooking their healthy meals, too.
