Ingredients:
2 onions (chopped)
4 tomatoes (chopped)
4 garlic cloves (pressed)
500 g ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
2ā3 tbsp tomato paste
600 ml canned tomato purƩe
2 glasses of water (600 ml)
2 cans kidney beans (450 g each)
1 can corn (400 g)
A pinch of cinnamon
Optional: Bread for serving and shredded cheese for topping
Instructions:
Prepare Ingredients:
Chop the onions and tomatoes, peel the garlic cloves, and set aside.
SautƩ Aromatics:
Heat olive oil in a pan. Press the garlic cloves into the oil and sautƩ until fragrant.
Add the chopped onions and cook until softened.
Cook the Meat:
Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
Season and Add Tomatoes:
Stir in salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Add the chopped tomatoes and mix well.
Add Tomato Paste and PurƩe:
Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a minute.
Pour in the canned tomato purƩe and mix thoroughly.
Add Liquids and Simmer:
Add two glasses of water (600 ml) to the pan and stir.
Incorporate Beans and Corn:
Add the kidney beans and corn, mixing everything together.
Season with Cinnamon:
Add a pinch of cinnamon for a subtle, warm flavor. Mix well and let everything simmer for 10ā15 minutes.
Serve:
Serve the chili with sliced bread on the side, and optionally top with shredded cheese.
