Homemade Chili, the easiest, most delicious chili ever

We are still in One Pot Meal Month. And without chili, what would One Pot Meals Be. I love to make chili. I don’t make it enough. Cold weather has to be here for me but when it does appear, chili is the first thing I want to cook. This is the simplest, easiest, and best of all, the most delicious chili that I think you will ever have. You can use medium to hot beans, add hot sauce and/or cayenne pepper to yours if you want a hot chili. I swear by the chili-o brand of seasoning. I just love it. If you don’t have chili-o available where you live, check out my Amazon store. I hope you will try my chili and let me know what you think. Recipe below.

Enjoy!

  1. So you a seasoning called chili o and a chile seasoning also? I've never seen chili o in the store I shop at.

  2. My mother would put thinly sliced carrots in her chili because that was the only way to get my father to eat them! That is what I do now!

  3. Never had chili o mix! I do mine in a slow cooker on low for 5 hours and then take the lid off for around 30 minutes!! Delish

  4. This looks yummy…..chili beans and veggie beef soup are my go to's when the weather gets cold. I started making veggie beef soup in the crockpot and I've never looked back…lol. I love easy and flavorful. This meets the mark. Some fried cornbread and I'm all set…..thanks Karen. Love and Hugs. 🥰

  5. This is probably a silly question. I don't have an Insta pot, would this work the same way in a crockpot for the same amount of time? I know I would have to break up the hamburger meat first.

  6. I can almost smell your chili! I like cheese, sour cream and Fritos on my chili. So good. Thanks for sharing. From Chesapeake Beach Maryland 😊🙏🇺🇸🐾☃️🦌🦉🦀

  7. I'm going to make chili today. My is got the same as yours. So yummy 😋 on these cold days. You have a blessed day and take care.

  8. You are our friend and you make us happy. Great recipe. Love the no salt/low salt ingredient as there is plenty of salt in the other ingredients.

  9. Hi Karen – My chili is very similar to yours but I do add chopped bell pepper, tomato sauce and pinto beans. Also, have you ever tried adding just one small square (1 inch square) of unsweetened baker's chocolate to your chili? It adds a good depth of flavor and an unctious texture without tasting like chocolate. Love your vlog, can't tell you how many of your recipes I've cooked, eaten, enjoyed, and saved! 😍

  10. I love a bowl of chili on a cold day. I live in South Dakota and it gets a bit cold sometimes. This is a good base recipe. Thank you for sharing. I would add Hatch chilies or jalapenos with a can of fire-roasted tomatoes. That is me and a suggestion for those looking for a bit more kick out of their chili.

  11. Mmm. Leftovers on a baked potato is awesome. I put a squeeze of mustard on mine when I have a bowl and crackers 🤌

  12. Karen, your chili looks yummy! We make ours with 2 cans tomato soup, onions, beef 3tbs
chili powder2 cans chili beans, can of red, black, navy beans. 2 cans of water. We like ours super thick, sometimes a little brown sugar if it tastes to tomato. Its delicious, my moms recipe.😊

  13. The chili looks yummy! I might make it this weekend, the weather's going to be rainy. Chili would be perfect to serve on a cold and rainy day. Thank you for the recipe!❤

  14. I wash the tops of my cans too! Chili looks delicious. I’ll certainly be trying it.

  15. Hi Karen Chili looks good!
I may make some this weekend, lol ! My dad would make chili for us when we were kids. He would make rice on the side that we would add to our bowls of chili.
Till this day I always make alittle rice on the side and think of my dad while I'm doing it…❤
