**Recipe Ingredients:**

* 6 Bell Peppers (any colors)
* 1 lb Ground Turkey 85/15
* 16 oz Marinara Sauce
* 1 Cup Rice
* 1/2 Yellow Onion Chopped
* 4 Garlic Cloves Minced
* Bell Peppers Diced (Used 3 of the tops)
* 2 Tsp Creole Seasoning
* 1 Tsp Pepper
* 1/2 Tsp Dried Basil or Fresh
* 1/2 Tsp Oregano
* Grated Mozzarella to top

***TIps****
Save Time- Use minute rice or precooked rice
Save Pepper tops and use as a stand for any peppers that will not stand on their own. Also use the remaining tops for the chopped portion of the bell peppers.

add grated mozzarella cheese in with meat toward the end of stove top cooking

***Meat Variations
This recipe can be used with other meats (beef, sausage, and even shredded chicken)
If you are watching carbs you can ditch the rice and double the meat!

Cooking instructions***

Boil Peppers until tender (roughly 7-10 mins). In a large pan over medium-high heat brown meat for 5-6 minutes. While browning the meat add chopped bell peppers and chopped onions and allow to cook while browning the meat. Once meat has browned add garlic and cook until fragrant. Then add marinara sauce, season, and add rice. Allow to cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stuff peppers. Top with cheese and place in the oven on broil until cheese is melted and golden.

  1. I love to see new recipes on some of my favorite dishes. One thing worth trying that I do is prepare them in coffee mugs then put them on a cookie sheet . Never have to deal with a pepper with an uneven bottom
