Sweet Chili Turkey and Rice Bowls 🦃 🍚🌶️

Ingredients:
-1 lb lean ground turkey
-1 lb green beans
-1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice, rinsed
-2 1/2 cups water
-cornstarch slurry (1 tbs cornstarch + 2 tbs water)
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
-2 tsp olive oil for cooking

Chili Sauce 🌶️
-1/3 cup rice vinegar
-2 tbs honey
-1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 tsp minced garlic)
-1/2 tsp ginger powder (or 1 tsp minced ginger)
-1/2 tsp red chili flakes
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper

Instruction:
-add the rice and water into a rice cooker or small pot with a lid; cook covered on low until fluffy
-bring a large pot of water to a boil and boil the green beans for 2 minutes; cool, dry, and cut in half
-add the sauce ingredients into a bowl; mix well
-mix the cornstarch slurry together in a small bowl
-heat a work or pan on high heat and add oil
-brown the turkey and break it down; mix in salt, pepper, and green beans
-add the chili sauce around the edge of the pan and mix well for 1 minute, allowing the acidity to cook down
-mix the cornstarch slurry one more time before adding around the edge of the pan; mix well
-once the sauce thickens, turn off the heat
-build bowls and store in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months

  2. I made this! It was 4 stars out of five! It could have been bc I was out of chili flakes spice too. Healthy & clean! I love that this page uses fresh ingredients instead of sauces made in jars! Love this page!
