Smoked Ox Tail š
Instructions:
– Season Ox Tails with your choice of rub (I used āāØ@KosmosQā© Double Pepper Cow Cover)
– Smoke low & slow at 225° for 4 hours
– Place an aluminum tray underneath to catch drippings
– After 4 hours, place Ox Tails in tray with drippings
– Add about 2 cups of beef broth, roughly 16 cloves of garlic, Rosemary, and 2 TBSP of W sauce and cover with foil
– Place back on smoker at 250° and let braise for 3 hours until tender
– Rest for 30 mins – 1 hour
– Enjoy over rice or some mashed potatoes with leftover braising liquid š
Monitored temps using my Thermoworks āāØ@thermapenā©Ā ONE and strained the braising liquid using my āāØāāØ@zulaykitchenā©Ā Bacon Grease container for easy pouring.
