Chilli chicken is a popular Indo-Chinese dish of chicken of Hakka Chinese heritage. In India, this may include a variety of dry chicken preparations. Though mainly boneless chicken is used in this dish, some people also use bone-in chicken too.
Ingredients:-
For marination-
1/4kg chicken
2tbsp ginger/garlic paste
3to4tbsp cornflour
3to4tbsp maida
1/4tsp soya sauce
1/4tsp chilley sauce
Salt as per taste (1/4tsp salt)
Oil for frying
For gravy-
Oil
1bowl onion thin slices
1 bowl mixed capsicum thin slices
5 to 6 green chilley slices
4tbsp garlic fine chopped
2tbsp ginger fine chopped
2tbsp soya sauce
1to 2 tbsp chilley sauce
1tbsp tomato kethup
Half tsp cornflour
Half tsp maida
Salt as per taste(1/4tsp)
Spring onions (for garnishing)
Procedure:-
Sarva pratham chicken che tukde ghya tya madhe aala lasun paste,meet,soya sauce,chilli sauce,corn flour, maida ,thoda pani takun mix karun ghya wa tel garam karun deep fry karun ghya.
Aata ek kadai ghya tya madhe tel taka va aala(ginger)barik chirlela,lasun
(garlic)barik chirlela,mirchi ubhi chirleli taka va vyavastit fry karun ghya tya nanter yaat kanda,shimla mirchi(capsicum),takun ghya wa 2 te 3 min fry karun ghya nanter yaat meet chavinusar,soya sauce,chilli sauce, tomato kethup taka va mix karun ghya nanter yaat fry kelele chicken che pieces ghala va mix karun ghya nanter maida /cornflour cha patal batter banvun ghya wa ya nashe ghala wa mix kara 2 te 3 min mix kara ya ver kanda paat(spring onion)ghala readyy to serve.
Tip-meet(salt) cha vapar kami karava karan soya sauce madhe meet already asta..
