Pepper chicken is an easy and simple south indian recipe.

Ingredients:

For Coconut Paste:

Oil 1 tbsp
Pepper corn 1 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Small Onion 1/2 cup (thinly sliced)
Tomato 1/4 cup (chopped)
Coconut 1/2 cup (grated)

For Gravy:

Sesame oil 2 tbsp
Clove 3
Cinnamon 2 small sticks
Bay leaf 2
Star Anise 1
Small Onion 1/2 cup (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Chicken 1 pound (Breast boneless)
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1/4 tsp
Salt as needed
Water 1 cup
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup (chopped)

Note: Took Boneless breast chicken, washed, chopped in to small pieces, wash with turmeric powder.

  4. Doesn't one whistle in a pressure cooker like prestige cook the chicken enough? 3 to 5 seems a lot. Maybe 2 won't be enough?
