This week we’re getting hearty with the meal prep! My flavorful chili is packed with protein and pairs with the right amount of carbs and fiber with my sourdough cornbread recipe. Check out the full episode for the recipe and let me know how it came out!
Ingredients:
1/2 of an onion
3-4 cloves garlic
2 pounds of Ground beef
Freshly cracked black Pepper
Salt
2 tsp of tomato paste
28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
14 oz can of fire-roasted diced tomatoes
4 tbsp of Chili powder
2 tsp of red chili flakes
1 tbsp of onion powder
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of cumin
1 tsp of chipotle pepper
1 tbsp of smoked paprika
1 can of black beans
Salt
Black pepper
Sourdough Cornbread
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup of sugar
1 1/4 cup of buttermilk
1/2 cup of sourdough starter
3 eggs
1/2 cup of honey
12 tbsp of melted butter, cooled
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of baking powder
