  1. My Grandpa used to eat chili with a side of peanut butter and carrot sticks! Sounds weird but it’s really good!

  2. Lentils instead of the chickpeas also works really well. That's what a sub shop in my area does. I didnt even know it was vegan chili, and it didnt spike my bloodsugar!

  6. Fun fact viewers, insulin resistance is not the same thing as diabetes. In women it's common to coincide with pcos. I got IR and pcos at around 8, I'm 32 now and I didn't have help other than the basics with a leading endo. I was lucky to even have that for 20 years, but I love how there are so many tips and tricks and backs for the people growing up now, it's awesome to see.
