Korean Chilli Garlic Potatoes | Spicy & Crispy Potato Snack



These Korean chilli garlic potatoes are a spicy and crispy potato snack you’ll love making at home. Inspired by bold Korean flavours, this quick and easy dish from Cook with Judy and Flo is perfect for evening snacks, parties, or even as a side dish. The potatoes are fried until golden and then tossed in a sweet, spicy, and garlicky sauce that’s absolutely irresistible.

Korean Chilli Garlic Potatoes ‼️

Ingredients :
250g Potatoes
1/2 Cup Cornflour
1/4 Cup Water or less or (as required to make a soft dough)
1tsp Salt

Sauce Mix :
1/2tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2tbsp Sugar
1-2tbsp Spring Onion Greens
1.5tbsp Oil
1tbsp Garlic
1/2tsp Sesame Seeds for Garnish

Method :
1. Peel off potato skin & cut into small pieces.
2. Boil potatoes till they are just cooked. Do not over cook.
3. Press the boiled potatoes through a sieve.
4. Add cornflour, salt and water as required to make a soft dough.
5. Make small balls.
6. Grease the rim of a glass bottle and make impressions on the flattened balls.
7. Boil for 1 – 2 mins on high flame till they rise on surface.
8. Strain and put them in ice cold water.
9. Add red chilli powder, sugar, dark soya sauce and spring onion green in a bowl.
10. Fry garlic in 1.5tbsp oil till light golden brown.
11. Add the garlic and oil the sauce mixture. Mix well.
12. Now toss the potatoe balls in the sauce
13. Heat it for 1 – 2 mins and enjoy.
