Ingredients
– 1 cup Maash Daal (Split Black Gram)
– 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
– 1 tsp Zeera Powder (Cumin Powder)
– Salt, to taste
– 3 tbsp Yoghurt
Yoghurt Ingredients
– 2 cups Yoghurt
– 1.5 cups Sugar
– 1 tsp Dahi Bara Masala
– 0.5 tsp Zeera Powder (Cumin Powder)
– 0.5 tsp Red Chili Powder
– 0.5 tsp Roasted Zeera & Coriander Powder
– Salt, to taste
Red Chutney Ingredients
– 1 cup Tamarind (Imli), soaked and strained
– 1 tsp Zeera Powder (Cumin Powder)
– Salt, to taste
– 3/4 cup Sugar
Method
1. *Make Dahi Baray Paste*: Blend Daal, dry spices, sugar, and yoghurt with little water to make a smooth paste. Fry in low flame.
2. *Prepare Yoghurt*: Mix yoghurt, spices, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
3. *Make Red Chutney*: Cook Tamarind, Zeera Powder, Salt, and Sugar in a pan for 15 minutes until thickened.
Serve
Serve Dahi Baray with Yoghurt and Red Chutney. Enjoy!
