I wish we had the same grease solidified product Japan does. After you let the grease cool off, pour a packet of the powder in it and it turns the grease into an organic waste product and hat is easily disposed of and it is called fry away grease cooking oil

Did this tonight and it was bland. Definitely up the seasoning and other things.
One can try adding a small can of diced tomatoes about 30 to 45 minutes before the finish. They should cook just enough to keep a nice fresh flavor on top of the richness of the long cook chili.

We like to use a can of good tomato soup in place of tomato sauce for our chili. Always turns out better that way 😊
