  1. Love a good chili dog. Fresh onions, pickled jajapenos, cheese, and always mustard (I know this is controversial). We use chuck roast, like we are making birria, and use the leftovers in chili.

  2. I always add coffee and square of dark chocolate to my chili. I love the deep, rich flavor it adds (I often add a can of tomatoes, so the flavors offset).

My spice blend actually includes espresso and cacoa powder. Love that up against chili powder, cumin, chipotle…jeez…so good!

  3. Something that I always add in my chili Isa good porter o stout it will add a little bit of smoky and sweetness to my chili. Also get a few ones for me, need to keep the cook hydrated 😂.

By the way congratulations for your new TV show.

  4. I like Nathan's quarter pound all beef franks. I have had a one third pound hotdog before and they are big.

  5. Boy those look so darn tasty. You truly are a class act. Hey that's a question I have had since I was a little tike, why are there 8 hot dog buns but only 5 hot dogs? God bless you Kent

  6. Love that you choose Nathan's and Hebrew National. The two best dogs on the market IMO. I do think the Chili dogs settles what most Texans already know…..there is no beans in chili. Nobody wants a load of beans on their "chili dog". ; ) "Don't buy canned chili"! Truer words never spoken sir. Loved this episode!
