🍽️ Black Pepper Chicken
📝 Ingredients:
• 250gm boneless chicken (cut into thin slices)
• 1/2 tsp fresh black pepper
• 1 tbsp cornflour
• 1/2 tsp chicken powder
• Salt to taste
• 1tbsp oil for marination
For the sauce:
• 1 tbsp oil
• finely chopped garlic 1tbsp
• 5-6 dried red chillies 🌶️
• freshly ground black pepper 1tsp
• 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
• 1 tbsp light soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
• 1tbsp chilli garlic sauce
• Slurry: 1 tsp cornflour + 3 tbsp water

👩🍳 Instructions:
🔹 Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
1. In a bowl, mix chicken with black pepper, salt, cornflour and chicken powder
2. Let it rest for 15–20 mins.
🔹 Step 2: Fry the Chicken
1. Heat oil in a pan, shallow-fry or deep-fry the marinated chicken until golden and cooked through.
( don’t overcook the chicken 3-4 mins will be enough)
2. Remove and set aside.
🔹 Step 3: Prepare the Sauce
In another pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
Add chopped garlic, sauté for a few seconds add fresh black pepper dried red chillies 🌶️ and sauté now add half cup of water chilli garlic sauce dark soy sauce light soy sauce and cornflour slurry
Combine Everything
1. Add fried chicken pieces into the sauce.
Add Sliced bell peppers and onions don’t overcook the vegetables otherwise it will become soggy
3. Let it simmer until sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
