  1. It's beyond inflation now for groceries, with no end in sight 🫤 thanks for your ideas. It's like $20 for basic meals but still more budget friendly than takeout.

  2. I've been getting that same salad mix! I like the Brussels in it. I never would've thought to put those in a salad.

  3. I am so excited to hear you have another cookbook coming out!! That's for sure top on my Christmas List if I don't cave and get it as soon as it's available 😂❤ Your recipes are fantastic and usually at least one or two end up on the weekly menu in my home ❤ my daughters favorite is the Baked Chicken Ranch Flautas on pg. 184 ❤

  4. One of the best things about you is that you don't edit out little imperfections. A few dropped noodles, or an ingredient missing because you didn't have it on hand, etc. never slows you down. You make me feel like I can make these recipes too, because they don't have to be perfect. Thank you!🩵

  5. Everyone seems to quote the "generic and name brand are made at the same facility" statement. They often are, but they're not the same. There are various lines (conveyor belts) and departments in the factories. The difference is what's called grading. I worked in a chicken plant and later a vegetable processing plant, and when product comes in, graders divide it all into best, good, acceptable type categories. The name brands have more graders working on their lines, to remove items, generic brands have little to no graders. Generic might have more green bean stems in the can or more feathers on the chicken, things like that. I buy generic when I can, but there is a difference 🙂

  6. My favorite noodle is the egg noodle! You can use it in so many different ways, but I especially like it in soups! Thanks so much for the recipes and I look forward to your 2nd cookbook! Gods Blessings to you and your family!❤

  7. 🤯 everything she shows is SPOTLESS. who on this planet has a stove you can see a reflection 🪞 in video after video, as well as cookware and casserole pans that aren't black and stained AND has kids!? 😂I love your attention to detail juliepacheco ! everything is sooo helpful. 💞

  8. I love saving money on store brands but because of my kids food allergy is good to know that some store brands contain traces of allergens so I buy the name brands when they go on sale

  9. I really love your videos. You are fun and your recipes are easy to watch and best of all they taste amazing and I can afford to make them! I live in a rural area with the closest affordable shopping (Walmart) about 35 miles away. I’m a senior living on a fixed income raising grandkids with no help. Feeding four kids has been a challenge since food prices have tripled here in the past 5 years. I appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos showing us how to make tasty and economical meals. You have honestly saved me so much frustration and money. Now we can eat tasty meals that are nutritious and easy to fix. Cooking is a joy again 🥰 Thank you!

  10. I have watched since you started your channel I think. I love simple meals. And honestly I love budgeting them. Thank you!! Your videos always inspire me. I should also mention I live in the Bay Area and go out of my way to shop at Walmart. People don’t know what they are missing!

  11. As a poor retiree, I buy lots of frozen vegetables (Walmarts are the cheapest), boullion, small cuts of pork and chicken breasts my main store sells for $5. Summer stir fry and Winter soups. Cheap, makes for several meals and satisfies. Hamburger is too high, so I started buying ground turkey but it rose too. So now I get breakfast sausage. With sauces like spaghetti or taco seasoning, you cant tell the difference too much. I fear they will follow suit though since it went up 40 cents a roll last week. All this inflation forces one to become creative in the kitchen.

  12. Thank you for sharing your videos.. my family has had full bellies, many nights. Thanks to you, sharing your skills with budgeting and planning
