Chicken with bell pepper
prep time: 10 min
cooking time : 15 min
serves : 3 persons
ingredients
chicken 500 g
onion 3 Medium (sliced)
tomato: 2 big
bell pepper 1 ,1/2
garlic ginger paste:1 tsp
oil
salt
turmeric powder: 1 tsp
red chilly powder: 1 tsp
yogurt: 1 cup
aromatic spices
cumin seeds 1 TSP
corriander seed: 1 tsp
cinnamon sticks 1
cardomom black : 1
green cardamom: 3
fengureek leaves dry : 1 tsp
fresh corriander
green chillies for garnish
Method,
grind coarse all aromatic spices
slice the onions
add oil to pan
heat it add onions
saute it
add garlic ginger paste
saute it
add chicken
Stir fry it
when changes colour add salt and chop tomatoes
saute it, remove the skin of tomatoes
keep cooking
add mix of ground aromatic spices
mix it
after a few minutes add chopped bell pepper and green chillies.
Toss around.
Add a cup of water.
cover for a few minutes.
It will be gravy .
Remove from stove
Garnish with herbs
Serve with chapaty or naan.
