Beans are in…Beans are out… what is all the fuss about? Original poem by Sonny Hurrell
I have a bad relationship with Mandolins. I think I will just grate them! 😅
I don't care why anyone says!! I will ALWAYS put kidney beans in chilli!
Bro beans belong in chilli more than carrots!
A cheddar jalapeno cornbread would KSA!
I'm glad he doesn't seem as sad as he used to.
…so any dried chilis you can get in california
ya that roast was RIDICULOUS. lookin like a5 wagyu roast.
Thanks! I'm going to try this. I recall a judge at a work chili contest: "real chili does not have beans."
But are you gonna play Arc Raiders though….
Na we do put beans in chile if not it's just hot dog sauce. It may be a boomer thing not to put beans
That ain't chili dude
As a TexMex (culturally and geographically)person myself – no beans! And I usually throw my dried chilis in the smoker for a few minutes and grind half of them and rehydrate the other half.
Try it without cumin. You’re welcome.
that ain't near enough chilis.
That 5lb block of lard looks like it should have gone straight into the garbage bin.
First off…. this looks wonderful 😍! However, beans are necessary in chili. Otherwise its just meat stew birria lbh.
Second off…. thats the most INSANELY marbled chuck I've ever seen as well. Holy shit! I'd smoke that bad boy like a brisket before putting it into the chili. Another depth of flavor imo.
Love you dude but I’m not putting coffee in my chili 😂😂😂
Sorry dude you’ve lost me on this one. Searing the meat first and then slow cooking for 2 hours will give tender and tasty morsels with added flavour.
Whole time I was thinking, this would be way more fire if it had beans..
This looks soooooo damn good!!!!!
Remember to keep beef fat in a freezer bag, then once you get enough make your own beef tallow!!!!!!!
I love beans in chili.
If I'm using it as a topping (chili dogs, chili burgers) then no beans.
That marbling was pretty for sure
Before cutting into cubes, I sear the steak slabs on each side, then cube. Gotta watch the fond though, usually it's too dark. Gonna try the coffee addition!
