HIGH-PROTEIN TURKEY CHILI RECIPE
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt, more to taste
2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
Tablespoon tomato paste
1 pound extra lean ground turkey or chicken (99%)
1 (15oz) can petite diced tomatoes
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth (add more if needed)
1/2 cup canned corn
3 cups kale, cut into thin ribbons or chopped
For topping: cheese, avocado, tortilla chips, cilantro, sour cream
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add in onion, garlic, pepper, and a pinch of salt. Add the spices and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the ground turkey and break it up into small pieces; cook until the meat is opaque and no longer pink.
Next, add in tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, allowing the chili to thicken and flavors to come together.
Add the corn and greens, and cook until the greens have wilted. Serve and enjoy!
Garnish with what you love!

5 protein-packed breakfasts, powders that actually taste good, and a printable protein food list – all in one place!
I'm new to your channel. I love your style and presentation. I can't wait to try this chili!
Great recipe, I cant eat beans either so a meat/turkey/bison chili is great.
I personally would never add corn bc the body cant digest corn so maybe it's just the chew factor, or as you said a touch of sweet. I also wouldn't add kale bc of the oxalates.
I am not a fan of chili because i dont like beans or tomatos in large quantities but this looks delicious and honestly just taking out the crushed tomatos it turns into a nice soup base recipe. Ill definitely experiment with this!
Seems more like a soup to me but looks delicious either way.
It was so good! We just made it for dinner tonight- 10 out 10 recommend! Everyone loved it and it was so easy to make- thank you for sharing it here with us!
I would love a healthier chicken Alfredo recipe (is there such a thing!!). Do you have a recipe or video?
Is that meat chopper plastic?
Besides being very easy to make it delicious I’m sure also love the high protein content 🥰
Nice Dani❤❤can you include some vegan recipes please for plant based subscribers😊
My husband would live this! Easy with left overs. Thank You
Thank you for another delicious meal recipe, I'm adding beans
Hi Dani! I tried this recipe with a really good meat subs that has clean ingredients and added beans and it turned out to be so delicious!!! WOW I'm really enjoying it in the cold weather, thank you!!
Where’s the recipe?
I would love to see anything high protein and good if you have high blood pressure. Thank you
I've been following your channel for years. Love your recipes. I had to make this one today. Since I have IBS-C, I added FODZYME before I started eating. WOW, amazing tasting chili. Thank you for another wonderful recipe. BTW, your Hummus Dip Board was a hit at a party I went to. I'm always recommending your channel to friends.
Hi Dani! Sorry I am so late to the party. Just saw your great hot chocolate video AND must ask — where do you get the (what brand) granulated monk fruit? That's what it looked like in the video. I have only been able to find powder which is a mess to scoop out. THX so much. Luv your stuff.
I buy my tomato paste in a tube too! But when I must buy canned, I also portion out by tablespoons and freeze. But I love using the tube the most!! These are usually stocked by the other tomato products.
Made this turkey chili recipe for dinner tonight and the family loved it! Was simple enough for me to put together after a day at work. Thank you so much for sharing -Debbie ❤
It's better to have everything pre chopped before u start the camera. Be alot shorter of a video
always love your video ty
Yum!❤
for those us experienced in chopping vegetables, is there a written recipe or ingredients list?
Okay, I’m trying this now. What do you do with the remaining chipotle peppers?
I add a tsp of ceylon cinnamon which gives a nice warm touch.
I bought your book after making so many of your recipes. The high protein banana bread is a family favorite. I just made this chili and it is so delicious! I did not have kale or any green on hand so I just added celery and parsley.
Can't see the name on the can peppers? Where do I purchase it
where is the recipe? I do not find it anywhere.
I cannot eat corn, but discovered chopped yellow bell peppers give the appearance, texture and sweetness of corn while being healthier.
That meat chopper can be found at Dollar Tree for a lot less
I made this recipe today, AND….AND… OMG!! IT is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CHILI EVER. WE LOVE IT. Thank you Dani, you're the BEST.
I made this today. It is delicious 😋. Thank you!
I just made this for dinner and it is excellent! Love the extra lean turkey and the chipotle peppers! I added a can of lentils and omitted the corn this time. For toppings, I went with avocado, tortilla chips, and Greek yogurt. My husband and I loved it! Thank you for sharing this 🙂❣
Hi Danni, can you make a stuffing video for Thanksgiving? I want to make a clean and delicious stuffing. Instead of using boxes stuffing, maybe using bread crumbs?
Thanks for the lean protein info
How many calories per cup?
Hello! I tried this recipe Wednesday night for dinner. OM-gosh, it was delicious! I could have eaten the whole pot, but of course, I didn't 😊 I used spinach instead of kale, not a fan of kale. But,this will definitely be a keeper in my recipe file. Thank you so much for sharing!
I love this recipe. Great idea about kale vs beans. I also don’t digest beans. I’m hooked on your healthy recipes and lifestyle. Thank you.👍🙏
Thank you 😊
This chilli was fire 🔥 🔥🔥 my family loved it
Thank you for the recipe❤
I'm definitely going to try this! Can you please link to the meat chopper thing that you were using to break up the turkey?
Thank
You! Love the no beans
