Ingredients

Base
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 can red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
• 1 can smoked diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
• 1 can tomato sauce (8–12 oz)
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1 cup water

Vegetables
• 1 red onion, diced
• 1 green pepper, diced
• 1 red pepper, diced
• 4–5 cloves garlic, minced

Seasonings
• 2 tbsp chili powder
• 1 tbsp cumin
• 1 tbsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
• 1 tbsp Soul Spice Seafood Seasoning
• Salt & cracked black pepper to taste

Directions
1. Sauté vegetables in a little oil until softened.
2. Add garlic and let it bloom.
3. Add spices and bloom them for 30–45 seconds.
4. Brown ground beef, season lightly, drain excess fat.
5. Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, & tomato sauce.
6. Add broth + water, stir well.
7. Add beans, stir gently to keep them whole.
8. Simmer 35–60 minutes until thick and rich.
9. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Top with cheddar, sour cream, green onions, jalapeños — and serve with warm cornbread.
