Black Pepper Chicken Karahi
Recipe
Ingredients:
• ¾-1 kg chicken
• 2 medium onions (chopped)
½ bowl oil
1 tosp cumin seeds
• 2 tosp ginger-garlic paste
Juice of 3 lemon
1 bowl yogurt
1 tbsp black pepper
• Salt to taste
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp cumin powder
• ½ tsp red chili powder (optional)
• Fresh coriander (chopped)
• 1 inch ginger (julienne cut)
• 2-3 tomatoes (chopped)
• ½ bowl water
• 2 tbsp cream
• Green chilies (for garnish)

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden.
3. Add chicken and top with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, yogurt, and all spices. Mix well.
4. Cook for 7-8 minutes, then add chopped tomatoes and half a bowl of water.
5. Let it cook until the chicken is tender and the gravy thickens.
6. Stir in cream, top with fresh coriander, ginger, and green chilies.
7. Serve hot with naan or rice.
