Chili Recipe | Cooking with Brenda Gantt

Good morning, sweet friends! I hope that yesterday Christmas Day was great for you and your family. I made this giant pot of chili so that I would have something in case somebody happen to come. It was so easy and yet so good. And it feeds a crowd of people. It freezes well also if you’ve never made chili from scratch, you need to do that. Is so much better than that premade chili that’s in a can. And think about what’s in. It is so healthy. I know that a lot of you make your chili different from mine And I think that’s great. We all have our own way. So you put real peppers in yours or different things on top and I think that’s great. Have you made a big pot of chili lately? How many do you think it fed? What I like to do sometimes is to add up the entire amount of money that it took to make this huge pot of chili then I divide the total amount by the number of people that ate it. When you do this, you will find out that you didn’t spend hardly anything on their meal per person. It’s like really saving a lot of money to eat at home rather than eating out. Oh yes, I eat out sometimes and it’s always great. But I don’t do it every week and certainly not every day. I like to eat at home in my own surroundings. What about you

  1. If you want to keep deer away. When you cut your hair spread the clippings around in the flower bed.Hair and ground up soap bars. They don't like the scent.

  2. Horse manure will grow lots of weeds because horses only have one stomach cows have 2 stomachs which breaks down seeds better less weeds have a great day!
