 Uncle Jr’s Award Winning Chili Recipe:
Recommend to use half of recipe for family. Otherwise, this recipe will serve a large crowd.
Instructions: Use Large Pot.
3 cans dark red kidney beans
3 cans light red kidney beans
2 cans fire roasted tomatoes
1.5 Hamburger
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
2 Tablespoons Brown sugar
1 package El Paso seasoning mix, or substitute your choice of seasoning mix.
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
Add Salt & Pepper to taste.
Directions: add all cans of beans & tomatoes to Lg pot… add all seasonings. In separate pan, cook Hamburger, add chopped onions & peppers. drain & add to pot. Bring up to low boil, stir, then reduce heat & simmer until ready to serve. Use favorite toppings.
