Pepper maggot is small white translucent in color feeding and tunneling just under the pepper skin. In initial stages we cannot identify the symptom on the fruit because adult female lay eggs into the chili fruit .Later on they feed and spoil the entire contain of fruit.This type of infestation is undetected by wholesale buyers or even consumers.
