In today’s video, I will be sharing my recipe for award winning smoked over the top chili! This recipe has won me and even some of you viewers quite a few awards at chili competitions and cook offs! It’s incredibly easy, and is pretty hands off when the prep is done! OTT (Over the top chili) is something that you absolutely must make, and it hits just how comfort food is supposed to! I will show you how to make this chili recipe step by step, and not only that I will show you how I smoked this on my Z Grills pellet grill! Using a pellet grill for this recipe makes cooking award winning competition chili so easy, so whether you’re cooking for the family, or for judges at a competition, this is a smoked chili recipe you will make over and over again!   2. I've made this a couple of times. Pretty sure I followed your video from a couple years back? I lived in Southwestern Ohio so I always used a packet of Gold Star or Cincinnati style chili seasoning. This is always a hit.

  5. I love the original video as my most favorite Chili as well as this one! I have tried other chili seasonings, and this one is by far the best. I also like to smoke a couple of sirloin steaks (choice is fine) and then cut up to add in with the over-the-top meat ball when time to incorporate. This does have me compensate some extra liquid with both the beef broth and tomato soup. Super easy and very delicious!!!

  6. I agree with a few others. If it wasnt -20, I'd be making chili like this in the smoker. It's my favorite way. Unfortunately, it'll be in the crock pot today. Lol. I'll be using a pound of ground venison and a pound of venison Italian sausage.
