This is a huge misbelief that causes people to go on miserable low carb diets and be afraid of foods like rice, potatoes, fruit, sweet potatoes, oatmeal… all the good stuff! Carbs do NOT make us fat. In this video, I explain simply, but from a scientific standpoint, why this is. We should NOT be afraid of carbs! I eat a high-carb diet and I am not obese. Carbs are not naturally stored as fat. There are processes such as dietary thermogenesis and glycogen storage that are done BEFORE we store carbs as fat. As it turns out, fat is stored as fat. Of course, this happens only when we eat more calories than we burn. I hope this video helps you!
