I started this plant as a seed in an AeroGarden and then transplanted it to soil. I probably waited too long to transplant it, but here we are. I live in Arizona and thought it would not survive the night time temperatures so have it growing inside with a light on for 12 hours a day. All of the buds fell off when I transplanted it, which I thought was from root shock, but itās been about 2 months or so since then and no new buds or any signs of pepper growth. There has been some new growth on a couple of the branches, but no signs of pepper growth. I thought maybe the soil is too nitrogen rich, so I used a phosphorous and potassium fertilizer about a week or so ago, but still nothing. Anyone have any ideas if this is a lost cause?

Plant looks really healthy itās definitely not a lost cause. Could be a temp thing, they like it hot but not tooo hot (above like 90F) but also superhots are just reeeeally slow starting & fruiting. I have an overwintered plant that was throwing out flower buds in May, which all fell off & nothing really began to fruit until July. In my case it may have been colder temps at night here in Ohio but I think theyāre just slow to get going, but they will eventually!
Are you using liquid fertilizer? I donāt think thereās anything wrong with that but you have to apply much more often than the granular kind which breaks down in the soil over weeks/months to feed to plant more consistently, Iād recommend some of that (something balanced but leaning heavier on phosphorous and potassium, something like a 5-9-7 I think is what seems to work well for me)
