This crispy Mooli Papdi is a unique twist on radish snacks. Fresh mooli is grated and lightly sautĆ©ed with jeera, black cumin, ajwain, and chilli flakes. It’s then mixed with finely ground suji to form a dough. Rolled thin, cut into small discs, and deep fried till golden and crunchy.
A perfect evening snack with chai, light on spices but big on taste. Easy to make and great for festive platters too.

Ingredients
– Mooli (Radish), grated
– Oil
– Jeera
– Black cumin (Shah jeera)
– Ajwain
– Chilli flakes
– Salt (to taste)
– Suji (Semolina), finely ground
– Oil for deep frying

Steps
1. Heat a pan and add a little oil.
2. Add jeera, black cumin, ajwain, and chilli flakes. Let them crackle.
3. Add grated mooli and sautĆ© for 2–3 minutes until slightly soft. Switch off the flame and let it cool.
4. Grind suji into a fine powder.
5. In a bowl, add powdered suji, salt, and cooked mooli. Mix well to form a firm dough.
6. Roll the dough into a thin large roti.
7. Cut small poori-shaped circles using a cutter or lid.
8. Deep fry on medium flame until golden and crispy.
9. Drain on tissue paper and serve hot with chai or chutney.
