The most flavorful, savory, and slightly spicy noodles that are surprisingly easy to make.

Ok yum dude
Looks amazing, but could probably use some of Jamie Oliverās chili Jamā¦
Is there a 3 minute version without the annoying commentary?
Your god has a mother? What a š¤”
yeah agreed with this video but you just suddenly threw chicken or pork stock on us at the last second and that can also be complicated. like i guarantee the chicken stock you used wasn't straight chicken stock. if not then please correct me as this recipe does seem great in the grand scheme of thing but i do have my questions.
Anything to replace the black chinese vinegar? Not sure i can get that in my country.
People who eat pork are disgusting.
I just made basically the same thing for my girlfriend for the first time this prior weekend, and she loved it! š
IMHO Chinese cuisine is maximally efficient – maximum deliciousness and impact, for minimum effort and stuff.
Very similar to Dan Dan noods
Can I just use Lao Gan Ma instead?
So mad I tired to order the same noodles from the recipe and now they are sold out smh
A+ Chinese Food ..
PAPAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isnāt rapeseed oil the same as canola oil??
He specifies any kind of wheat noodle. Can rice noodles be used? Maybe they get too soggy? I dunno, I love noodle dishes but my GF has celiac.
your OG style is back!
Oil that you use for chili oil will destroy your kidney, liver and pancreas it literally just like cooking with polyurethane paint w/o the hardener. I China and Hong Kong they use pork fat to make chili oil healthy and help reduce diabetes, increase brain function and reduce blood pressure.
Josh, your chili oil recipe is a lot like mine, but mine is better – sorry. Want a copy?
I am going to give you my highest praise. You are 10 times better than Jamie Oliver!
7:07 ya know what, Josh… *gives you the middle finger*
Bro got the budget increase to use metal bowls. Def got them from Chyna
In a pinch, spaghetti boiled in a high pH balanced water (add baking soda to the boiling water) will give you a chewier pasta noodle. It isn't perfect, but it'll work if you can't get/don't have Asian noodles.
Canola oil is rapeseed oil.
Crazy how cocky someone can get over success. At the end tho, miserable people, stay miserable people.
It's definitely not authentic. The way he did chili oil is not quite right ( vinegar, MSG, also Salt), because if it's salted, then you don't know how much salt you will add to the noodles later. And high temperature will kill MSG's fresh flavors, so better add to the dish directly. Same thing with garlic, sometimes you need your chili oil to be naturally spicy, so it's more versatile.
Add Canola oil and then add Rapeseed oil? They are the same thing.
Where'd the ampersand go? (I'm fully on board tearing those off)
I have a great place called noodle alley in Manchester UK where I've had this probably 10 times in the last 4 months
i was in Chongquing 4 days – i ate those 5 times
Oh American ignorant dude, you mean dan dan mian!
Tasty and yummy Sea food recipe. ā¤ā¤ā¤
Fabio making ramen now?
How in the hell did I end up in your cupboard… AGAIN!!??
Romanians also use garlic water quite frequently with fish dishes especially in sea/river fishing towns. Romania is also a garlic loving country, so garlic with water, yogurt or mayo.
Only difference here is that you didn't make yours with sewer oil. The sewer oil may have a unique flavor, but it causes a trip to the hospital when consumed.
The video presents the information in a clear and easy-to-follow format.
Ask Esther Choi to make you one on Heat Eaters!
Theres a CRAZY new invention. Its called welding. NEVER buy a pan with a riveted handle. They come loose over time and leak. There also a pain to have to scrub around. I don't get this new fad of making crappy riveted pans. My pans are over 50 years old. My sisters super expensive riveted pans lasted about 10. You might say well mine have lasted longer. It doesn't matter. It's a potential failing point you can avoid, and there still a pain to clean around. Don't buy them, trust me they suck.
When I was a student, I usually do normal chili powder and mix with some curry powder on the oil hahahha. Taste great!
This looks amazing. It also looks like one of those recipes I'll have on my to-do list forever, waiting to find some of the ingredients. I'm looking at you, yellow miso paste!
Ain't this Dan Dan noodles ? Very similar
lost me at seed oil
