Im a born and Raised Texan, OUR chili has 3 kinds of beans, Pinto, Black, and Kidney. There is NOTHING wrong with beans and their very yummy, add extra protein and in this day an age still affordable protein source
Delicious! The only thing I do is broil the chicken chunks for a couple of minutes before adding them to the jars. I don't like the "shreddy" texture of raw-packed meat, nor the mess it makes on the inside of he jar. Otherwise, it's a GREAT go-to to have on the shelf!
Do you have to use fresh corn and tomatoes, or can you use canned corn and tomatoes? Or will the double canning ruin the flavor? Just wondering because we have a back stock of canned ingredients, but I'm so tired of being an ingredient household and want to turn some into heat and eat jarred meals.
