Looks tasty. I’m not a hard shell hater, but it gives a ‘cafeteria lunch line’ sorta vibe haha. Keep it up!

Id happily eat those. Dont bother posting on the taco sub though. Bunch of snobs and gatekeepers over there

    Yikes-arooney lad.

Man decides to insult 2 cultures in one go. First, picodillo would never be served in a hard shell taco like that, not even in a taco period. You eat that over rice.

Those sultanas are absolutely massive. Need to use something smaller like raisins.

What is the cream sauce on the last pic?

I’m going to be honest, it doesn’t look very appealing in your presentation but I’d try it. If you keep the picadillo recipe but instead of the hard shell, use a corn or flour tortilla (heated first on a warm cast iron or griddle), you may have a better experience especially when dressed with onions/cilantro/salsa/lime. If you enjoyed what you prepared that’s all that really matters but don’t expect anyone/most people in this sub to call that a taco (respectfully).

Not combatting the stereotypes on Brits and food with this post
