Don’t sleep on the last-chance produce section.
Red bell peppers were $1.67 each, but the last-chance bags were $1.50 for 3!
I grabbed 3 bags and I’m dehydrating them to make homemade paprika.
This is one of my favorite low waste habits.
Food that’s about to go bad gets a second life as a pantry staple.
No dehydrator? You can use your oven.
Set it to the lowest temp (usually 170°F), slice the peppers thin, place them on a rack or parchment-lined tray, prop the door open slightly, and dry for 4–6 hours until completely brittle.
This is Part 1. Come back to see how they turn out!

Keep getting it girl that’s amazing. I was wondering what you’d do with them. Do you make bell pepper powder or?
Seeing that many red peppers gave me so much joy. You look so content too!
I wash em, slice some, dice some then freeze em😊
