Sounds amazing. I've only tried hominy once that I know of. I was a child so I don't know if I liked it not. But I'm going to try it your way. It sounds amazing. I love chili. Also with cheese and an insane amount of crackers. I've tried it with sour cream it was good.
Looks yummy! I grew up eating hominy. I think it was because it was cheap, also I think my dad just liked it. Never had it in chili, but I'll have to try it. We eat it with hot, buttery cornbread.

Cheese and definitely saltine crackers. Mississippi here representing the south.
I won a chili cookoff by using 1T powered cocco. It's really good!
I thought I was the only one who ate Saltine crackers with my chili.❤
Hominy.. I’ll look for it! Thanks Angela Kay ❤🇨🇦
😳😳 hominy 😳😳
No cilantro?
If you want to add more flavor depth, try adding beef broth instead of water. It's another game changer
That sugar helps to counteract the bitterness from the chili powder and the acid from the tomatoes. It is definitely needed!

The mistake you made was saying Hominy can also be called Pizole . That is a pork soup that contains hominy. I make that a few times a year.

My mom used to make homemade chili. She put kidney beans in it. I don’t like kidney beans in my chili. I like pinto beans in it
I add a little bit of instant coffee tonight chili. Never tried how many before me have to do that.
The hominy is the only thing I would leave out
