Parts of stems are browning, but the last month i haven’t seen any “proggres” on the browning. I’m afraid it will die just like my habanero did, and it was full brown like that.
I’m wondering what’s the cause, and solution and if i should cut off the brown parts.
and thanks in advance!

Could be over watering and a fungal issue could try drench method with hydrogen peroxide to try and save it

Why do you guys prune so aggressively when you overwinter? I have a Filipino labuyo variety pepper plant that is going on its third year now. I just prune it back a bit before bringing it inside, just so it’s not taking up so much space. Only way I can keep them alive overwinter is by bringing it in and ignoring it. Here in Illinois it was -8°F the other day.
