Crispy Cabbage Poppers Recipe | Easy Veg Starter with Potato Stuffing #shorts



These crispy cabbage poppers are crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Made using boiled cabbage leaves, spicy potato stuffing, and a seasoned besan coating, this is a perfect tea-time snack or party starter. Simple ingredients, easy steps, and amazing taste.

Ingredients

For the stuffing
• Boiled potatoes
• Onion (finely chopped)
• Green chillies (finely chopped)
• Coriander leaves
• Salt
• Jeera (cumin)
• Red chilli powder
• Garam masala powder

For the cabbage rolls
• Cabbage leaves (boiled until soft)

For the besan slurry
• Besan
• Salt
• Red chilli powder
• Haldi powder
• Jeera
• Coriander leaves
• Water (as required)

For frying
• Oil

Steps
1. Boil cabbage leaves until soft. Drain and keep aside.
2. In a bowl, mash boiled potatoes.
3. Add onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, jeera, red chilli powder, and garam masala. Mix well to make the stuffing.
4. Place a portion of stuffing on each cabbage leaf and spread evenly.
5. Roll the leaf tightly and cut into round coin shapes.
6. In another bowl, prepare a besan slurry by mixing besan, salt, red chilli powder, haldi, jeera, coriander leaves, and water to a smooth consistency.
7. Dip each cabbage roll into the slurry, coating well.
8. Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame until golden and crispy.
9. Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup.
