Taco Bell Quesorito kit issues

Hi Everyone- not sure if this is the right place to post this but I recently had issues with the Taco Bell Quesorito kit I bought via go puff. The tortillas ripped even though I microwaved them and made them carefully (I have past experience in food service) they still didn’t fold well. See picture my gf took to see what I mean (this was for Valentine’s Day), everything spilled out of the tortilla and it looked like a mess despite the preparation. It felt like the instructions were unnecessary difficult for what I needed to do and they definitely need to put that you need shredded cheese yourself bigger. It also seems kind of like a scam – it was advertised as a quesorito kit so I assumed it would be like the food item from Taco Bell restaurants and this wasn’t like that since those have two layers of tortillas and then cheese betweeen that. I think the instructions should’ve said to warm the cheese sauce up too, this felt very congealed when you bit into sections with the cheese sauce. I didn’t add the chipotle creamy sauce because it is too spicy but the track seasoning wasn’t too spicy which I was worried about while preparing because I could feel the spices in it when the air blew against my face.

She said it tasted basically like Taco Bell. I think it was a step on the right direction; Taco Bell doesn’t need to be a restaurant and I think a lot of products could be made at home.

These taco bell products the taco kits are all taco bell inspired. The only real taco bell thing that you could get thats the exact same at the restaurant and at home is the sauce. Baja might be but everytime I drink baja, rather it be a can, a bottle, or at taco bell its always different. Never the same for some reason.

  2. So, it’s not something that Taco Bell makes or manufacturers. Kraft foods makes it, and it’s something you can easily buy on-shelf at most grocery stores along with their “sauces.” If it was from GoPuff, it may have been on-shelf for awhile, as they source all their stuff via their storefront: BevMo. BevMo is more known for booze than it is for convenience items, so they don’t cycle through non-booze related stuff very often.

While that was a fun V-Day idea, you would have been better off just DoorDashing some actual TB, or individually buying the ingredients to make your own version of a Quesorito
