High Protein / Low Carb Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
3 bell peppers, halved
1 1/2 lbs ribeye shaved steak
1 onion, chopped
2 cups reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese
6 slices provolone cheese
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder

Directions
1️⃣ Cut bell peppers in half and remove cores and seeds.
2️⃣ Roast peppers at 400°F for 10 minutes to soften.
3️⃣ In a large pan over medium-high heat, cook chopped onion until golden brown.
4️⃣ Add shaved steak to the pan and mix with onions until combined.
5️⃣ Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder.
6️⃣ Cook until beef is fully browned.
7️⃣ Stir in shredded mozzarella and mix until melted and well combined.
8️⃣ Spoon cheesesteak mixture evenly into each bell pepper half.
9️⃣ Top each pepper with a slice of provolone cheese.
🔟 Return to oven at 400°F for 10 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted.
1️⃣1️⃣ Remove from oven and serve immediately, or store in the fridge/freezer for later.
