Trying the (allegedly) Leviathan Gnarly Scorpion

so few days ago i posted a pic of peppers i bought that i forgot the name and most of you said it's probably a Leviathan Gnarly Scorpion. Few days ago i decided to harvest them and out of curiosity i took a small bite just to see how hot it'll be. and oh boy, hot peppers are hot! (duh) it was an immediate pain not a gradual build up and it was quite intense spiciness for few seconds. mind you i only took a small bite at the tip and not even getting the seeds yet. and while i was struggling with the pain my father gave some of the peppers to our neighbors which i reminded them it's super hot, like REALLY HOT. and they just shrug it off because in their region they're used to eat spicy food. and they found out the hard way that it is indeed super hot. some neighbor said the pain didn't subsided for at least 10+ minutes and the knife they used to cut it although was washed clean with soap still leave some residue that made fruit they cut up spicy. today i decided to brave myself and try HALF of it in my fried noodles. i was pleasantly surprised that the spiciness was very pleasant now. it is still hot but it's not pure suffering like before and i think I've grown to like it quite a bit! just gotta remind my parents to go easy when they're cooking with this peppers tho. in the meantime, can't wait for my Katokkon peppers to regrow and harvest them!
